Born: 1st July, 1936.

Received his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (1958) and M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering (1963) from Technical University of Budapest, PhD in Economics from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1985), Habilitation (Dr. habil) in Technical Sciences from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (1996).

Fluently speaks English and Russian.
